If bruising does occur, you can take over the counter Arnica supplements and/or apply topical Arnica gel to the area.
​Most patients see improvements to volume and skin texture 4 to 6 weeks after treatment. ​​Optimal full results develop over 3 to 6 months time as new collagen is produced and integrated into the skin. Sculptra is ideally administered in a series of treatments (most common is 3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart). Each session builds on the previous one, leading to cumulative improvements.
