EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF PRF
THE NATURAL WAY TO REJUVENATE YOUR LOOK
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is made from your own blood and a protein matrix called fibrin. Once harvested, it becomes a gel made up of a high concentration of white blood cells, fibrin, and stem cells (growth factors) that regenerate collagen and elastin significantly improving the appearance of skin and promoting hair growth.

WHAT IS PLATELET RICH FIBRIN (PRF)?
PRF stands for Platelet Rich Fibrin. PRF is similar to Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), but has slight differences in the way it's prepared and it's components. PRF and PRP are prepared from the patient's own blood similar to a simple blood draw. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge (commonly used tool in laboratories to separate substances in liquid according to particle size and density differences). PRF contains platelets, white blood cells, fibrin and stem cells that when injected into tissue release growth factors that stimulate collagen and elastin production.

PRF is used in aesthetics to promote facial rejuvenation, hair restoration and growth and to improve the overall texture and tone of skin.
WHAT DOES PLATELET RICH FIBRIN (PRF) DO?
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) in Phoenixville is derived from the patient’s own blood and has been used as a natural treatment for many years for a number of medical and aesthetic procedures.

PRF is considered a more natural and advanced form of platelet treatment because it contains not only platelets but stem cells, a fibrin matrix and white blood cells. This combination leads to a power house of growth factors, providing long-lasting results.
Through collagen production and accelerated cell turnover, PRF improves skin texture, ton and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Promotes Healing & Collagen Production
in Phoenixville, PA
PRF speeds up the body’s healing process through the release of growth factors. The growth factors released stimulate cell regeneration, tissue repair and collage production. PRF is great at healing wounds and overall tissue repair as a result of the aging process!
Through that collagen production and accelerated cell turnover, PRF improves skin texture, tone, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves dark under eye circles, and acne scarring.

Blood Draw
1
Similar to a regular old routine blood draw, We will draw two small tubes worth of blood from your arm
The blood is spun in a lab tool called a centrifuge to separate the growth factors that contribute to collagen production (aka PRF) from the other blood components.
Separate the Goods
Once separated, the PRF is then injected directly into areas we are trying to improve. PRF is most commonly used to improve the overall texture and tone of skin, the under-eye area and for hair restoration!

WHAT IS A VAMPIRE FACIAL?
A Vampire Facial is a facial that combines the amazing benefits of both platelet rich fibrin or plasma and microneedling! It is otherwise known as Platelet Rich Plasma (or Fibrin) Facial. Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure which entails controlled injuries to the skin with small needles (to the face or other desired areas of the body) - which in turn stimulates collagen and elastin production. The Platelet Ruch Fibrin Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) contains platelets, white blood cells, fibrin and stem cells that when stamped during microneedling treatment into tissue release growth factors that stimulate even more collagen and elastin production providing an even better result than microneedling alone. A Vampire Facial rejuvenates and refreshes the face, providing younger, healthier, and more vibrant skin.
WHAT DOES A VAMPIRE FACIAL DO?
Stimulates Collagen Production
The small needles used during the microneedling process cause microtrauma or injuries to the skin which in turn stimulate collagen and elastin production. This keeps skin looking plump and youthful.

Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Through the stimulation of collagen and elastin during the procedure, this minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Results are even better when multiple treatments are spaced apart 4 to 6 weeks.

Improves Skin Texture and Tone
The powerhouse of growth factors from the PRF or PRP that is applied during the treatment stimulates skin regeneration and this leads to smoother, more even skin tone.

Minimizes Pores and Scarring
The powerhouse of growth factors from the PRF or PRP is especially great at improving scarring such as acne scarring, large pore size and making skin overall smoother, more youthful.

Promotes Skin Hydration
The Vampire Facial is often used in conjunction with hyaluronic acid (a slippery substance that your body produces naturally and draws water). This promotes skin hydration promoting plump radiant complexion.
Produces an Internal Glow
After treatment clients rave about their radiant glow after treatment.
WHAT'S GETTING A VAMPIRE FACIAL LIKE?
Preparation
The area to be treated is cleansed and numbed with a topical cream to ensure patient comfort during the procedure.
A microneedling pen is applied to the skin and PRF or PRP is used as a medium. With proper numbing the procedure is comfortable and pain free. Procedure takes 20-30 minutes.
Treatment
Your skin immediately after may appear red and feel slightly swollen, similar to a mild sunburn. This is normal and usually subsides within the first 24-48 hours.

HOW LONG DOES PRF LAST?
PRF is recommended as a minimum of three treatment series spaced apart 4 to 6 weeks. While you may notice improvement much sooner, it can take 3 to 4 months to see the long term full benefits. Long term full benefits of PRF or collagen/elastin production can last 6 to 12 months.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PRF COMPARED TO OTHER TREATMENTS?
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Preparation: Spun in a centrifuge at high speeds to separate the plasma from red and white blood cells. An anticoagulant is usually added to prevent clotting. The resulting plasma, rich in platelets, is then injected into the treatment area.
Preparation: Created similarly to PRP but spun at a lower speed without the use of anticoagulants. This slower speed and absense of anticoagulants allows the blood to form a fibrin clot that traps platelets, white blood cells and the release growth factors over time, enhancing results
Components: PRF has a fibrin matrix that serves as a scaffold for the platelets, which are released more slowly over time. It also contains more white blood cells and a higher concentration of growth factors compared to PRP, leading to enhanced results.
Components: Contains a higher concentration of platelets suspended in plasma but lacks the fibrin matrix that is present in PRF. PRP mainly provides an immediate release of growth factors.

hair restoration, facial treatments to improve overall skin tone and texture as well as treatment to the under-eyes
Safety: Considered slightly safer because it doesn’t require anticoagulants, reducing the risk of reactions and ensuring that the treatment is entirely natural.
Safety: Generally safe with minimal side effects, but the use of anticoagulants can slightly increase the risk of adverse reactions.

Dermal Fillers
PRF can appeal to those looking for a more gradual enhancement as it relies on multiple treatments and waiting for your body to produce collagen and elastin over time. It’s also an option for those who cannot have traditional dermal fillers or prefer not to.
PRF is most often used in conjunction with dermal fillers as multiple treatments to combat signs of aging is best. Always discuss with your treatment provider which treatments are right for you!
Since PRF is autologous (from the patient’s own body), the risk of allergic reactions or adverse effects is minimal.
The effects of dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid based fillers, are visible immediately after the procedure, offering instant volume and contouring.
Dermal fillers, while FDA approved and generally considered very safe, can have side effects like swelling, bruising, or, in very rare instances, allergic reactions.
PRF promotes the production of collagen, which can improve skin texture, elasticity, and overall appearance. It is often used for skin rejuvenation, reducing fine lines, and improving under-eye hollows.
Dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid fillers, are used to add volume to specific areas of the face, such as the cheeks, lips, and nasolabial folds. They provide an immediate plumping effect.
PRF stimulates the body’s natural processes for skin rejuvenation, while dermal fillers are focused on adding instant volume.
